Sunrise

This morning there is hope.

If God's greatness is unfathomable, then perhaps even the most wicked of outcomes from humanity's misuse of freedom is nullified by a relationship with God that humanity's very existence provides.

It is not that the end justifies the means, it is that the means are swallowed within the end, and have become one with it.

Perhaps it is better to live a life ravaged by pain and tragedy then to not exist at all, for whether consciously or unconsciously, we are in relationship with God.

  1. In life I have found that God really seems to be testing our faith when we feel like he has abandoned us. But he is always there. When life gets to that point where everything is overwhelming, and we don't know what we're doing, or where we're going, God has a plan. Everything we do is meant for something greater even though its hard for us to see it. Almost all the stories in the bible tell of people lost, or feeling abandoned by God when all the time he is standing right next to them. Just look at the story of Noah. God told him to build an ark, so even though he was probably wondering, "Why the heck is God making me build some huge, stupid boat?" There was a much greater plan behind it. All in all the whole earth was swept away except Noah, his family, and two of every animal. Then it was up to Noah to re-establish mankind. So what Noah saw as a pile of wood, God saw as a completely new, and completely sinless world.

We're in the same boat remember? (No pun intended). So hang in there because everything will turn out to be something amazing.

  2. A pen-name? Nice. I like it. It suits you very well. This post, unfortunately went clear over my head. I am a simple man, and see beauty in creation...thus seeing God.
